Health Science
OVERVIEW
The Health Science program of study focuses on preparing students for a wide variety of health careers. Students will gain knowledge in the therapeutic, diagnostic, health informatics, support services and biotechnology research and development systems of the health care industry.
ACADEMY ENDORSEMENT

AVAILABLE INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS
Students have the opportunity to earn Industry-Based Certifications. These certifications help students stand out in interviews, help students gain confidence in a subject area, and give students valuable experience in preparing for the level of rigor required for industry certification exams they may face in the future.
AHA Healthcare Provider BLS
Students who enroll in Health Science Theory & Practice have the opportunity to earn these certifications.
Certified Medical Assistant
Students who enroll in Practicum in Health Science: Certified Medical Assistant have the opportunity to earn this certification.
Certified Pharmacy Technician
Students who enroll in Practicum in Health Science: Pharmacy Technician have the opportunity to earn this certification.
